This is the 'coloured pencil' part of the process. One of my favourite parts actually, because essentially it's just smoothing everything out, blending things in, picking out highlights, and it's a lot like colouring in an awesome colouring in book! Plus, you can see the difference like this (I didn't know if it would be as obvious if I didn't compare and contrast).

Compare and Contrast

I haven't touched the flowers, or the background yet, I've worked on her face, hair, the cloak, and the wolf's face, and the energy spirals. :)

Cool! Water color pencils work much better then I expected, but i suppose it depends on brand.

Watercolour pencils are great, no matter the brand. I even sometimes use the really cheap, primary school Faber Castell watercolour pencils because they go on really smooth and creamy (I need to get some more actually, their black is quite subtle and not overpowering, which I like).

It just depends on how you use them, and taking the time to get to 'know' them. They can take a while to get to 'know.'

Will keep them in mind for my Art "Want" list. I have quite the list, but with no money for the stuff on the list at current, since it doesn't seem its good enough to for people to want to buy it (or maybe I am trying the wrong market?) they will have to wait till I can justify the purchase.
