People just don't learn. I mean sure they look cuddly and fluffy, but they're not that great up close and personal when they're hungry and territorial!

We have a lot of koala and kangaroo attacks here, people assume that koalas are always cuddly and don't have extremely long claws and very strong arm muscles and tendons for wielding them; likewise people seem to think that kangaroos are cute even when they're big male boomers.

Though a big cynical part of still thinks that they're cute even when they're attacking the tourists. *blush*

By the way, I see you have a therianthropy filter group. That could possibly be interesting.
You are on my otherkin-related stuff filter group. Stuff from that filter does not bleed onto unfiltered lj posts. I'm a little strict about that one- one of the other people who reads my journal is a childhood friend turned Harvard psychology student. He likes to do major projects on how anyone who believes in that stuff should be institutionalized. So yeah...
And it's stupid to get in any animal's personal space. They always have some means of defending themselves. Trust me, I've seen some freaky kung-fu master rabbits. Or something like that, for the damage they did.

Yeah I've seen people go 'bunnies are so docile' and my childhood experiences were anything but. Bunnies SCARED me. They were cute, but they bit. *shudder*

I've added you to my therianthropy / Vilturj (shamanism) filter. My stuff bleeds all over the place because I'm blessed with a pretty good group of friends, but I do try and keep things at least a *little* in their filters.
