Sneak Peek at the next Studio Ghibli film; The Borrowers Arrietty - not directed by Miyazaki, but he's the head animator, and you can see his touch everywhere. And yes, it's a remake of the book, The Borrowers.

That looks like it's going to be awesome! As usual.

Ponyo is like a story told by a three year old on methamphetamines. It's awesome.

The Borrowers Arrietty hasn't come out yet, and probably won't be out in the Western world for a long, long time (maybe two or three years), though I'll try for a fansub well before then!

The animation looks very good though, which means at the very least; Ghibli eye candy! :)

You can count on there being a fansub out not long after the .jp theatrical release, I suspect.

I'll be sure to let you know how to get it if you don't beat me there. ^_^

Must see Ponyo...

Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh

If you find a fan sub for this, PLEASE link us. Plus, Disney dubs them pretty awfully, so I'd just rather see a fan-sub anyways.

Also, I have always adored Miyazaki's love for the ornate. That shot of the kitchen in the first trailer was just...whoa!
