Apr. 16th, 2010 04:32 pmDeath. From. Cute.

Koala - I don't generally love koalas, they're like the Australian stoners of the animal kingdom; they have evolved to eat a food that literally leads to brain retardation. Not only that, but they can be incredibly vicious, vicious bastards, to each other and to people. But seriously, when they're sleeping, or just sitting in a tree branch, they are really cute and fluffy.

Kangamoo

I couldn't help myself

Drama Queen - So I'm watching all these kangaroos lolling around, and then this one stretches and affects an 'oh god, I'm dying! Tell my loved ones I'll miss them!' What I love most of all is the pale joey behind her watching like, 'stop it. That is most undignifying.'

Pale Joey - Not albino, but leucistic. Red kangaroo and all.

Feed Me - You can of course feed all these kangaroos, though Mum and I spent the majority of our time just patting the ones that like neck rubs and neck scratches.

No Really, Feed Me - Same kangaroo and my brother.

Whee! We are being fed! - Big male on the right. He was a big sooky bear.

Ho Hum - 'If you are going to feed from me, I am, at the very least, going to rest my upper half on your back.'

Neck Scar, Babeeeeeee - Etcetera.

Date: 2010-04-17 12:12 am (UTC)I love kangaroos, I've always wanted one, actually. And an emu. Actually I've always wanted a big menagerie of animals I can't justify keeping all at once.

Date: 2010-04-17 12:17 am (UTC)Some kangaroos are very big, but they're the biggest, most aggressive males - and they wouldn't be kept at a park where they can interact with kids, because they can be very violent / lethal.
But overall, kangaroos aren't huge.

Date: 2010-04-17 12:15 pm (UTC)My first thought was thyroid, as 2 of my friends have have lost part or all of their thyroid. But their scars were lower than yours. Hence my curiosity.

Date: 2010-04-17 12:17 pm (UTC)They got it all, but there's a small chance it could come back, or the vein graft that replaced my internal carotid artery could fail. I have ultrasounds and stuff every few years as a result.
Fun!

If I did, I apologise for making you repeat yourself, and apologise in advance for the next time I ask you the same question. ;~P
