I really like the colours and the spirals. The lower set of spirals in particular draw and hold the eye in a most mesmeric fashion.

I like the lower set of spirals too. I did something similar (but not quite) when I did Sea Otter. Not all sea animals want spirals like that, but I love it when they do.

Although I'm not crazy about the reds/pinks, from an artistic standpoint I understand the color use. However, the purples and blues are gorgeous and flow really well!

And I have a question (of course!). How come orca is sort of hiding behind the 'wave'?

Orca always asks for some variant of red and pink in my work with them. Always. Without exception. No idea why.

That is really intense. The big black wave - I keep thinking there needs to be sound effects with it. Like a really deep bass note, like the ocean. Something like that.

I love the sound waves make, both listening to them underneath one (which I used to do when I swam in the ocean all the time), and the sound from the shore when they hit.
