Ok, seriously, how much are you charging for Set? Sed is also the oldest of the jackal Names.

Simply stunning! Someday I'll probably have to get a print of Set and Anubis for my hubby who works with them (as well as Thoth).

Your work just keeps getting better and better. even with the thumbnails I could see the subtle shifts in colors in the background and the pelt texturing.

There's something different about this set, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's the colors, they seem overall to be darker than normal, or maybe it's just the more neon-ish blues and greens that make it seem that way.

Not to say it's bad :D They're gorgeous, as usual ;) The colors on the grizzled tree kangaroo is my favorite, but the funnelweb is oh so tempting. Would not be a picture I'd put in a relaxation room though, rofl. It's so badass XD

Edit: I just now noticed your comment on trying something different; is that referring to the Etsy link (which I assumed) or referring to an art difference?

Yeah, it's referring to the Etsy links, and just having the thumbnails up on LJ.

I love the use of that particular blue in both Set and the spider. Especially with the purples in the spider (can't click closer though, TOO TERRIFIED, but when it's small I can pretend it's a black object with nice colouring :D)

I'm surprised Set didn't ask for more reds, given his traditional colouring. But I LOVE the way he's highlighted with the pinkish colour that flashes in the light. That's VERY cool, and makes me think of him. It's fascinating how you got the blues so neon, and the sharpness it gives him.

(ps: General squee over blue-turquoise blending etc, my fav colours and oh god they are so beautiful here ;_; )

The kangaroo looks like it's sending out rays of psychic energy! LET'S HAVE A POKEMON BATTLE! My Abra is formidable!!!! *battle music*

I reallllly like the colors for the spider. They're lovely. The animal chose this? It has marvelous taste.

I also enjoy the color combo for the tree kangaroo that looks like a very large rat. But a cute rat. With a dog's muzzle. These are australian animals? I'm fascinated by how bizarre they look. :p

And, I adore the colors for Set. Chocolate brown is one of my favorites, and I think it goes great with a lot of other colors. Particularly with the blue and green that was selected.

These animals have great taste in colors!! :]

Both tree kangaroos here are from New Guinea, but there are Australian tree kangaroos too. They're all pretty awesome. :)

Oh New Guinea. That's cool.

Are there mammals in Australia? I always was under the impression that you guys only had marsupials reptiles, spiders and birds (who giant and golden).

Yeah we have mammals. We do have more marsupials than mammals, but we do have mammals and amphibians. :)

I love the colouring on the funnelweb, it just shouts 'fuck off'. Like funnelweb hirself...

I really like all of them actually: tree kangaroo feels so leafy, and the white corner just adds to that somehow, the Set-creature is dusky and the colouring is odd, but still works.

Heh, I've never met a funnel web, and I'd be more than happy to keep it that way! *g*

Me neither, but in the picture funnelweb is Not Happy.

I've very happy keeping my arachnid acquaintances to the small and non-venomous.

Gross! A funnelweb walked across the mat the other week and almost walked onto me. It was scary.
