Date: 2010-03-05 05:01 pm (UTC)Not to say it's bad :D They're gorgeous, as usual ;) The colors on the grizzled tree kangaroo is my favorite, but the funnelweb is oh so tempting. Would not be a picture I'd put in a relaxation room though, rofl. It's so badass XD
Edit: I just now noticed your comment on trying something different; is that referring to the Etsy link (which I assumed) or referring to an art difference?

Date: 2010-03-05 06:04 pm (UTC)I'm surprised Set didn't ask for more reds, given his traditional colouring. But I LOVE the way he's highlighted with the pinkish colour that flashes in the light. That's VERY cool, and makes me think of him. It's fascinating how you got the blues so neon, and the sharpness it gives him.
(ps: General squee over blue-turquoise blending etc, my fav colours and oh god they are so beautiful here ;_; )

Date: 2010-03-05 09:02 pm (UTC)I reallllly like the colors for the spider. They're lovely. The animal chose this? It has marvelous taste.
I also enjoy the color combo for the tree kangaroo that looks like a very large rat. But a cute rat. With a dog's muzzle. These are australian animals? I'm fascinated by how bizarre they look. :p
And, I adore the colors for Set. Chocolate brown is one of my favorites, and I think it goes great with a lot of other colors. Particularly with the blue and green that was selected.
These animals have great taste in colors!! :]

Date: 2010-03-06 01:23 am (UTC)Are there mammals in Australia? I always was under the impression that you guys only had marsupials reptiles, spiders and birds (who giant and golden).

Date: 2010-03-06 06:57 am (UTC)I really like all of them actually: tree kangaroo feels so leafy, and the white corner just adds to that somehow, the Set-creature is dusky and the colouring is odd, but still works.
