Spider: "Oh no you DIDN'T, you betta step off NOW byotch"

The spirals are different. Is that intentional on your part or the animal's part, or did that just happen?

What the animal wants, the animal gets, basically.

Hm Grizzled Tree 'Roo and the Funnel Web both have similar spirals. Funnel Web does have damn hard segments in those legs.

Huon Tree 'Roo has this 'back off' visual with it.

I'll have to look up Sha animal.

These are all beautiful, but of course I'm particularly intrigued by the one of Set. I've often wondered about the Set-beast/salawa. Wild dog? Aardvark? Is that a lightening bolt in his tail, or merely a stylized tuft? :)

These look great, can't wait to see the finished works especially the spider! Never been frightened of them since watching Charlotte's Web as a child, always found them fascinating :)

*Huon peered over his steepled fingers*
hmmmmm....

(I know it's probably a marking in the fur or something like that, but I can't help but hear a hum like Spock's "Fascinating...")

Grizzled one, I really, REALLY want to know what it is looking at!

The grizzled tree kangaroo represents the big picture, so I guess it's looking at that! :)

. . .

Which is something I have trouble with... and the one of the four that I had the most profound gut-reaction to. I love how things work sometimes.
