Glen: How do you develop a character?
Me: Um. Well, you think about them a lot. You put them in different situations. You write about them in different scenarios. You pretend you're them because you hate your life so much.
Glen: *ROFL* You should write that in LiveJournal.
Me: It's true. I hate my life that much.

Date: 2007-08-22 05:11 pm (UTC)Ahhh, I hear ya...character creation and development is the greatest form of real-life escape. And everyone needs at least one Mary-Jane character; they are good for maintaining sanity. The rest of my characters sort of get the shit thrown at them on a regular basis, though. They might have tougher existences than me, but at least their lives are more exciting!!
