Date: 2010-01-24 11:51 pm (UTC)But then I always liked the idea of people getting about 9, attaching them in rings or in a very large frame, and having that as a feature too. They look so good when you have a bunch together.

Date: 2010-01-25 01:36 am (UTC)Being a starving artist type myself, I think I'll have to stick with your prints (which I have hanging near me right now and LOVE), but I hope you manage to sell them all. To people who'll love them.
And yeah, a quilt of your artwork? Holy crap, that'd be AWESOME

But otherwise, in the 'as totems' series, this (and Etsy, and about six others) are all I have left.

Date: 2010-01-25 02:49 am (UTC)(Prehensile tail, popcorn-and-musk--I have only met one once, but I admit I fell in love) not a totem for me, I don't think, but such a cool critter...

Date: 2010-01-25 02:51 am (UTC)And yeah, binturongs are freaking awesome. I think the only reason this one hasn't sold is because they're just not that well known.
It sounds more like a Bali beer company than it does an animal. ;)

Date: 2010-01-25 03:03 am (UTC)I really like the white tailed deer in your Etsy store, which is weird to me because I've always been kind of afraid of deer. Silly thing to be afraid of, I know, especially when I'm not afraid of wolves, bears, or moose. Deer are just a bit creepy in their own way.
I'm hoping you still have some of these for sale when I'm more stable. Or maybe you'll have new ones by then. :)

Date: 2010-01-25 03:06 am (UTC)I don't think I'll ever stop the 'as totems' series, because I am so compelled to draw animal totems. Even if I do take a big long break.
And hey, I find horses kind of frightening, so I totally get the deer fear.
