Polar Bear 02 as Totem

The polar bear is the world's largest land carnivore (and the world's largest bear!). Polar bears actually spend most of their lives at sea, hunting sea ice, walking across frozen seas and swimming to find new food locations.

The polar bear is listed as Vulnerable, with the IUCN. They are threatened by hunting, global warming, oil and gas mining, etc. The list goes on. They're pretty threatened!

This one is an interesting companion to your other 'Polar Bear as totem'. The last one was more like the bear was in the ocean, this one's more like the bear's on the ice. The blue, black & white really stands out.

I have two more polar bears to draw in this current request series - so I only hope I can do justice to the next two. Though the next one is quite specifically meant to be an aggressive polar bear, so that should definitely have a different tonality to it.

I love your new seal icon, by the way. It's so stunning.
