I often take breaks from my 'as totems' series to do something not as repetitive, so I was wondering if you all would like to help pick out my next project:
I would have chosen dragons, buuut Ravens - because you're soooooo good at them!! BoP - because you always sound (internet sound) so happy about them :3
I too was wondering if there was any interest in wandering outside of the animal kingdom.
Note that I'm finding I can't help but answer the question as if you were asking what we wanted you to draw (possibly because that's a significantly easier question to answer). :P
*ponders icon* On the other hand, how about a giraffe? :P
Heeeeeey, have you done a Willie Wagtail as totem? I could look myself, but I'm slack today ;) I seem to have a plague of them sprouting in my life right now.
I'd really love to see some ravens or some dragons. But, really, I'll go completely ga-ga over whatever you produce, so do whatever your heart desires.
But oooh elemental dragons..... I can imagine all the detail work you would do on the scales with shiny colours......
Something else as well: You have recently been incorporating plants and flowers into your work... I love this and can see you doing some lovely Aztec ruins with plants wrapped around them....
If you do the elemental ravens series and make prints available, I will seriously make room in my budget for the prints. You have no idea how excited this would make me.
I would love to see elemental dragons or elemental ravens or more fake birds of paradise, but do whichever you most want to do. Us great unwashed masses seem to love pretty much anything you art :D

Date: 2008-12-17 04:03 am (UTC)I also voted for Startail stuff, 'cause it's cute and doesn't seem like it's necessarily as draining, which is nice.
The faux birds of paradise were cool, especially for the neat zoological details you worked in, as well as the detail of the work.
But really, you should art what you feel like arting.

Completely unrelated, would you mind if I made a lj icon of your flying foxes? I want to ask first, since it wasn't in your icon posts.
