I haven't worked with gemstones in such a long time that I've decided I'm going to bloody remind myself what I have, after looking for the name Prehnite for ages. Some of them I won't ever forget, but what the hell...just in case.

Prehnite

I use for:

Shamanism
Connecting with the Upper Worlds
Working with Heart Chakra
Drumming
Earth heartbeats.

Chrysocolla

I use for:

Grounding
Oceanic deities and spirits
Cleansing

Labradorite

I use for:

- Connecting to Raven and Ehrembi, innate Shapeshifter energies, and specifically to Lesavny
- Moving through all worlds easily, enabling easier 'movement'
- Time manipulation in otherworlds
- Time transience
- Confusing demons in the underworld (long story) while psychopomping
- Attraction / repulsion

Zebra Rock / Ribbon Agate

Mysterious and rare stone from Western Australia, one of the oldest 'fossil' stones (in that it is an ancient stone, not new), in the world. Hard to come by.

I use for:

- Connecting with the Australian landscape
- understanding death mysteries
- understanding the Australian spirits
- listening and observation
- journeying.

Eudialyte

From the kola peninsula, known to my people as the 'Shaman's blood', used specifically in rituals pertaining to sacrifice, initiation, and mystery work.

I use for:

- see above
- bloodwork
- psychopomping
- working with spirit-helpers effectively
- as an 'eye' in the underworlds.

Those four or five will do for now, I don't think I'm going to be working with anything else.

Interesting! I work with stones a little myself, although not in a shamanic way.

Wow sister! Those are gorgeous! Is that Labradorite a picture of yours or a stock photo? I was just wondering because my piece is a lot greener and not nearly as shiny. Tis beautiful, though, and that Shaman's blood is absolutely gorgeous!

My labradorite is bigger, shinier and more different colours. And has pretty much no green in it. It's all chunks of iridescent blue, blue-green, yellow, gold and some striking sections of magenta and purple.

All of these are just photos pulled from google. My Prehnite for example is a 'slice' and not a circular clump.

As for the Eudialyte it's so fucking expensive! I have a tiny poor quality piece, but it's still very powerful. I'm saving for one of the 300.00 pieces though (they fit in the palm of your hand) from the Kola Peninsula to really get that energy rocking. I feel that stone should really go to the people who worship with it and folklore about it, so I'm getting me some! :D

These are neat. I don't know much about the spiritual properties of stones, but I do find it ironic that computers get all their power from a crystal (pure silicon). A crystal and electricity.

I have a polished agate that I bought in New Mexico that I'll show you. I also added a close-up of about 3 cm across. It's a geode. They had lots of them that they were selling. Hunting rocks is what a lot of people do there as it's all desert and mountains. Many of the geodes are very pretty and not too expensive but I found this one to be the most interesting to me. *Must have it* ;)

I love the geode, it's stunning and very beautiful and grounding colours. No wonder you like it! :)
