I actually went with more 'deep sea' colouring, than icy colouring, because I feel that this more accurately represents the transition that our beloved, fragile and fierce polar bear is undertaking as I write this.

I also get the sense that polar bear doesn't mind the colours I chose. Heh. This is one of my favourites that I've done for a while, actually.

There's iridescent green in the energy circles too, which means this one really shines when it picks up the light. It's one of my faves. :)

Yay! The more I hear about this piece, the more I can't wait to receive it. I agree with others here about the "proud desperation" he has ... And yes, Polar Bear is often male to me, for some reason. :)
