Filling the gaps for the two decks I'm focusing on first and foremost right now.
American Green Tree Frog will fill the gap of 'Frog' in the Iconics deck (tree frogs in general are one of the most globally recognised species), and the Hyacinth Macaw is filling the gap of 'parrot.'
I ended up focusing in on the Macaw, because when asking for what birds people thought of as the most iconic (including politically emblematic - i.e. birds used on coat of arms) on Twitter, after eagles, swans, doves etc. a lot of people said parrots, and then a few people from South America mentioned the political and spiritual significance of macaws in particular. The Hyacinth Macaw to date is one of the most studied and politically significant parrots in the world. I considered the Kakapo, but I pushed that to the Rarities deck I'm pretty sure (though it may get replaced by one of the Australian night parrots).
And then we have the Platypus for the Unusuals deck. I've actually illustrated Platypus as a totem twice before, but never in this size.
All of these will be available on my Etsy when I re-open it (presumably in a couple of months).
American Green Tree Frog // Dryophytes cinereus (prev. Hyla cinerea)

Hyacinth Macaw // Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus

Platypus // Ornithorhynchus anatinus
