There is a possibility that you have overdone the cuteness just a tad, but that adds to it I thinks!

Once again you just amaze me with the feathers, I wish there was some easy way you could teach me your feathers! I would give much moines to draw feathers like that!

I don't think it's possible to overdo cuteness. ;)

Feathers are... the trick with me is to do them quickly, and to do the lines without thinking. If I think about it too much I mess up the details. But studying birds helps a lot, looking at how they layer over each other.

Who cares if it's twee? Relax, do some low-key art that doesn't drive you so hard, let yerself just sort of...regenerate.

A workaholic is a tricky thing to be when your healing's about learning to relax, but...if this kind of art helps, then do it, don't be ashamed of it!

How do you manage to do cheerful, cute art when you're depressed? All I end up with is really morbid, gloomy crap. But I do feel better afterwards.

I think it's like a self-soothing thing. It's how Startail started, actually, all those years ago now.

If I'm feeling destructive, I won't do 'cute.' But if I'm feeling just sad, tired, depressed... I will. It accesses a brighter part of me that remembers that no matter how down I am, innocent, twee things make me smile.
