Anyway, I finished this a while back.
Watercolour + gold acrylic and some iridescence on the birbs.
Common Ravens instead of Australian Ravens for once.
Will eventually be listed for sale on Etsy if I ever get around to it.

A coloured part of the Inktober challenge.

I used to be so diligent about that kind of thing.

I really love the colours in the top one, with the contrast of the ravens and the red poppies/ pink background. Pretty sunset background in the second one.

You put the Wisdom of the Poppy on FB a couple of weeks ago, and I've been waiting for it to appear on etsy to see if I can afford it.

Yeah I find listing things on Etsy extremely stressful, so I tend to wait until I have more than one finished piece to add a bunch up at once. If it helps at all, it will cost $140 AUD (not including postage, which would be $5 AUD) - and I'm happy to process it all privately. It could be another month or two before it sees Etsy, with how fast I work on art these days.

I'm currently incapable of thinking about anything other than Swancon, but I'm very definitely interested. If you get a firmer offer before I get myself organised by all means take it, otherwise I'll be in touch after the Easter "break".

The Wisdom of the Poppy came out so well! I was really excited when the poppies were coloured as you were posting WIP shots :3

I want to draw more poppies, I'd like to work to get more depth into them next time, but I'm happy with how these ones came out. :D

I am vastly belated commenting of course, but oh these turned out spectacular! I am torn because I love the blue/red of the first, but the gradation of purple and copper in the second is also glorious. I can't say which one I like more!
