I've been arting very casually lately. But I AM participating in Inktober (draw an original ink piece every day for 31 days). We'll see how it goes.

I've not been open for commissions for about two years now. I still get asked, especially for totems, and I put people on a waitlist. But I honestly have no idea when I'll come back to it. I want to one day. Right now my path has me going a completely different direction.

Eee thank you! I like the way it's been done, makes me wonder if I should try sketching like that more often (it's just pencil and watercolour on paper). Even if the character didn't work out in terms of how he looks, I still sort of like how organic it feels? :)

Thank you for sharing these! They're all so lovely to look at, but I keep coming back to the character rendered in pencil and blue watercolor (or ink?) washes. Something about that one really draws me in. :)

I like the deer with the lantern antlers best, but the last sketch is very striking. The eyes draw one in.
