[Photos] Denmark, roadside shots, some chocolate....

A random collection of photos. I'd burnt out really hardcore by the time we hit Denmark (Western Australia), so there's not a ton of Denmark. I spent most of that weekend inside feeling pretty miserable and happy not to be moving. Thankfully Glen was happy for that too. It was probably actually the most restful two days we had. We visited a couple of places (most notably a great chocolatier, and an animal petting farm because we're nerdy animal dorks).

The storm we drove into from Denmark to Margaret River. It pissed down with rain in the last half hour, which was interesting on slippery roads at like 110kmh. (We drove slower than the speed limit, but a lot of other people didn't, including road trains).

Denmark beaches seemed a lot less interesting after Esperance.

I am intrigued by the "bush tucker" chocolates. Were they all floral/fruit/seed, or were there things like candied ants as well?

Nah, all floral/fruit/seed. Actually a lot of things like candied ants are considered a bit gimmicky here (I mean, it's not like Indigenous folk ate candied ants, if they wanted sweet ants - that's what honey ants were for), so you're more likely to find them in Australian tourism shops.

This was things like...lemon myrtle, finger limes, roasted wattleseed, strawberry gum (Eucalyptus olida), aniseed myrtle, pepper berries etc.
