[Photos] Roadsides and Esperance (pt. I)

Last month we went to Albany, Esperance, Denmark and Margaret River, and all in all we did about 40 hours of driving. Maybe more, actually. We had a good time, though it did tip my fibromyalgia into a flare, I was very happy to see Esperance for the first time. :)







I have a thing for taking photos while in the car. (I'm not the driver, don't worry). And being able to see so much open land while we were travelling to Albany - and then onwards to Esperance was a great deal of fun.

For those who don't know, Esperance is a small coastal tourism/agricultural/fishing town approximately 720 kilometres away from Perth City. It's known to have Australia's best beaches, Australia's whitest sands and Western Australia's most popular beach.

(It's also - so far - got the best coffee we've ever had in Perth. Shame it's a 13 hour drive away!)

I've never been to Esperance. It looks pretty!

Esperance is really lovely. Hard to get to though if you don't want to fly there and have any fatigue based (or pain based) illness. The driving was pretty excruciating. D:

Yeah, I don't think I will go there any time soon. But maybe one day.

Lovely water and sky, though my favourite photo is the one showing the road/vehicle/trees. They are so different in shape to what I am accustomed to.

That road/vehicle/trees one is one of my favourites because of the colours, and because those eucalyptuses were so distinctive. I daresay that's mallee region, and it was actually really cool seeing 'malleefowl' crossing signs everywhere. I'd never seen them before.
