What is this insect? ^^

It's a brown stinkbug, one of the many in the Oncocoris genus, but I'm not sure of the exact species. Maybe apicalis. I don't have an insect identification book on hand, and Perth insects are harder to look up and narrow down than the insects over East, and overall harder to narrow down than ones in Europe and North America.

But yeah, we just call 'em stinkbugs.

Your parks look super. It's so great when there is proper urban (I assume) green space. And your bug has a butterfly "tramp stamp"! Yes, I do have a tendency towards pareidolia! :D

Yeah, Ellenbrook in particular has put a lot of care into a lot of small (but frequent) parks, along with a proper grassed and fenced dog park.

Yeah, I'm glad I could get the photo since they're usually really shy. But I'd love to see yours too! :D I dunno, I love seeing little critters from all around the world.
