Your solar lights are really cool -- and I say this as someone who doesn't particularly like yard lighting. I honestly prefer the dark, but to be fair I have above average night vision, so light just spoils moonlight/starlight for me. Your herbs make me think I should try to grow a bit of something myself. A pot or two should be manageable, even with my rule that anything I put in the yard must be able to mostly fend for itself, because I don't necessarily have time to look after it. The first photo is also very striking! It reminds me of the more colourful and mysterious marine invertebrates, actually -- a glorious creature alien to what we expect in the world.
