Missy is an extraordinarily soft dog, to the point where she cringes a lot of the time if you pat her, now matter how slowly you approach or if you approach from beneath her head (which I do), but she loves being petted, and attention, and she was actually sold with a discount despite being show quality *in appearance*, because her temperament would have disqualified her in the ring. I love her. She's brilliant and sweet.

This is Pumpkin, a golden retriever x poodle (because no, no to the portmanteaus). She is the loveliest, docile, gentlest, non-hyperactive dog I've ever met in my entire fucking life. And she was like that as a puppy, and a one year old, and a two year old, and now is just generally a sweet, sedate dog. She's actually a little *too* docile for me, if anything. But I LOVE her.

Yeah the Christmas lights in Landsdale are the greatest, we usually make the point of going through every year because there's usually about 150+ houses that have them, and some are spectacular.

Although I'm veggie, the egg bothers me far more than the meat (I'm allergic). Just as well I've already had breakfast! :o)

Oh god me too! I wish I felt like cooking like that all the time, but unfortunately I don't. I sometimes wish I had someone to cook for me, or to cook my food for me - but in this house, if I don't cook, we eat packet food, fruit or take out basically.

I never have the spoons for elaborate cooking :C I'm also anxious enough in supermarkets that I don't like spending too much time there, so I rarely buy fresh vegetables. Usually I throw a bunch of pre-cooked, frozen stuff in my basket and run away from the place. (I'm lucky enough to live in a country with high standards when it comes to food quality and availability, so that it's actually good to eat, but yeah I guess fresh products would be best.)

When I lived with my ex he did the cooking every now and then, and I would help for the preparation. I like it better when I'm doing it with/for other people.

Oh, lovely food! I like to look at fairy bread, it's just so cheerful. Some day I will remember that I want to make it when I'm grocery shopping.

Fairy bread is awesome - it's one of those things that's so easy to make but...like a lot of those kinds of things, not many people do. It's easier when you make a huge batch and can share it out at a party or something. I find like two small pieces (or basically the equivalent of one slice of bread) is my limit, alas.

I love the dog pictures too, both Missy and Pumpkin have such sweet faces. :) Based on what you've said about Pumpkin, you would probably like Leeloo a lot. She is very calm and sweet, but not too docile, especially not outside! *g*

Yeah, Pumpkin and Leeloo would get along! She's also not a small dog, I mean Leeloo would be bigger, but Pumpkin is larger than both a standard poodle and standard golden retriever (as is common with those sorts of mixes) and she can hold her own!

Ohh yes, Leeloo would love Pumpkin! Leeloo loves dogs her size (she's about 80lbs) and strangely she loves reeaally small dogs!

That looks delicious. Granted, I can't eat meat, but it still looks delicious. What is the golden stuff with the broccoli?

It is, unfortunately, chicken - but could easily be substitute with something like tofu. I actually do cook a fair bit of veggie stuff too, so my sauces are generally rich enough to not need meat to 'give them flavour.'
