Currently working on another cross-stitch.
This one of a tiger.
Going along well and quite enjoying this one.
It's been *such a long time* since my last cross-stitch I was worried I'd forgotten how, but I guess it's a little like anything else... your body just has to remember how to do it again.

You do beautiful work! I recently got back into cross stitch too, I hadn't done it since I was a kid, but my carpal tunnel was playing up so I needed a break from knitting, my regular craft. I found a little kit at a thrift store and bought it on a whim a while ago. I'd forgotten how addictive it was. Do you use kits, or do you make your own patterns/color choices?

Oh man, carpal tunnel must make crafting so freaking difficult. :/

I use kits, though I do have the software to actually create and print out my own patterns. It's something I've considered doing, actually, but one of those 'maybe in the future' kind of deals. Plus I like the sort of 'not having to think about it' aspect.

It's very good. I find that those magnetic stencil things help keep my place in the chart. One of the things which I don't like about cross stitch is when you are working on something complicated and you lose your place, and only realise you've made a mistake hours later.

I am lucky in that I don't tend to make mistakes too often. Usually, if it's under 30 stitches, I'll pull it all and do it again. However, if I realise I've made the mistake too late, I'll just improvise and alter around the mistake. Fingers crossed that keeps working. I've made one mistake in this so far that I can't fix, but I can alter it so it's not visible anymore.

That looks awesome! And reminds me of the tiger I STILL have not finished. Maybe I should send you photos of my tigers. (Have a cub I did up on my wall, this one is going to one of my nieces.)
