(by rain, I mean about three minutes of very light drizzle;
but I was standing outside in it!

Incredibly mild compared to your heatwave. It will get very uncomfortable for me later in the week when temperatures approach 30, but so far, I've managed to avoid needing the aircon on for more than a few minutes. There's lots and lots of sunshine; I sometimes think that events and conversations that occurred in the morning happened two days ago, the days are so long (which is sort of cool). Not much rain this time of year, but lawns are still looking somewhat green. UV index is firmly in the extreme (11) around here, but it seems like it's only a problem to go outside from 2 to 5pm or so. I think lots of people around here are loving the weather and the summer.
