(by rain, I mean about three minutes of very light drizzle;
but I was standing outside in it!

I love looking at all the hours of DVDs - all that time and love from producers and actors and documentarians and scriptwriters and cinematographers and costumers and gaffers and so on. It's just...awesome.

Incredibly mild compared to your heatwave. It will get very uncomfortable for me later in the week when temperatures approach 30, but so far, I've managed to avoid needing the aircon on for more than a few minutes. There's lots and lots of sunshine; I sometimes think that events and conversations that occurred in the morning happened two days ago, the days are so long (which is sort of cool). Not much rain this time of year, but lawns are still looking somewhat green. UV index is firmly in the extreme (11) around here, but it seems like it's only a problem to go outside from 2 to 5pm or so. I think lots of people around here are loving the weather and the summer.

Oh man, now I want to re-watch Wild China and watch tons of other nature documentaries just from seeing this photo. :D

I loved Wild China! It's awesome that someone else has seen it. Have you seen Wild Pacific? That was awesome.

Wild China is actually available on Netflix streaming in the states, which is how I came to saw it. It was a really beautiful documentary.

I haven't seen Wild Pacific, but it's in my Netflix DVD queue now. :D

It has decided to rain here, heavily, which is uncommon enough that I had my nose stuck out the door, just breathing in all those intensified smells.

Yay, The X-Files! I do a run-through of seasons 1-7 at least once a year. :) Also loving the Pixar collection in the background.

1-7 = YES. Glen was like 'I need to see 8 and 9!' (because he hadn't seen them all until he moved out with me) and I'm like 'you're doing that on your own pardner, as far as I'm concerned, those seasons aren't canon.' Lol.
