I LOVE your romantic minis! These are all so gorgeous, but I am completely and utterly smitten by the peafowl. There is something so ethereal, and regal, and LOVING about them. *sighs happily* I could stare at that one for DAYS!

Thank you! The gold-red peafowl are another in a few other peafowls I've done in this series. I always think they look so amazing together as birds.

It is rare that I resent my lack of a significant other, but not having someone to buy the peafowls for is bumming me out.

Well, though this might not be relevant at all, the romantic minis are not specifically/solely designed for significant others (though they can be), but also for friendships, or meaningful connections with other people. I tend to think of them as markers for any special connection, especially as I don't identify as sexual (I'm asexual), so I like to create artwork that celebrates affectionate, or even romantic love, but that doesn't have to always mark a sexual connection. :)

That is a lovely sentiment and one that I can identify with as someone who is sexual but believes strongly in asexual romantic love. I'll have to look through your other romantic minis to see if there are others that don't read so strongly as sensual – to my eyes – as the peafowl.
