Photo/s of the day. Moet and Maybe.
May. 21st, 2011 02:18 pmWe let the cats out again today.
Moet is so hard to get back inside again!
Today I picked him up and carried him in, because food lures didn't work, lol.
Bloody Moet.
You can't see meeeeee.

Moet hiding behind a Grevillea shrub.

Maybe loves rolling around. Seriously. Here she is contemplating attacking something.

But the thrall of rolling around takes over instead.

My pretty girl!

This is the 'I've seen something' look. In this case, she saw Moet. And wanted to attack him.

Then she commences with stalking.

Then comes the pounce. Sometimes I think she is only truly happiest when she's stalking and pouncing things. Look how happy and focused she is!

Leap! Alas, I didn't get any more photos, because then we started laughing at Moet and Maybe. Mostly because Maybe kept bouncing on top of Moet trying to get him to play, and he was resolutely ignoring her (sniffing some wood), so she literally kept bouncing on him until she realised he wasn't even going to tell her off.

Oooo, the concrete slab has a smell!

Moet always looks so dopey when his pupils are contracted, but needless to say, he's focused!

He was watching Glen.

Here is some Lechenaultia formosa and some little buddha figurines. Not only are the flowers that red, they are - impossibly - MORE red. The kind of red that the camera goes 'no, sorry, no flowers are that bright.'

Some spidery grevillea groundcover.

More grevillea groundcover.

The awesomely foliaged Thryptomene is starting to flower. This is also a groundcover.

This (I can't remember what it is, I'm sure Dani will know) hasn't flowered for two years. And now, suddenly, it's flowering.

This is a Moet flower!

Moet flowers are rare, but they pick up the sunlight pretty quickly!
