This one is fabulous. I really, really love how beautifully you've captured the wrinkling on the head, and the eye. We get Turkey vultures here, in the far south of the province, and I always enjoy seeing them. I also really like vultures generally, and the individuals I've met personally have been intelligent, charming, social sorts (really!) as opposed to the general hawk, falcon, or eagle, which are frankly... not that bright. Magnificent, yes, intelligent, no. So I was pleasantly surprised by the vultures. :)

Magnificent. :) I'll never forget the Turkey Vulture we saw at the San Diego zoo. Everyone was fawning all over the Bald Eagle because it was feeding time and he had a rabbit. So the Turkey Vulture just stood up as straight as it could, stretched its wings out full span, and spun around in slow circles for a good 3-5 minutes. It was pretty awesome to see.

I've noticed with this and the Aoxotl (name butchering ftw?) there's an overwhelming of one color, in contrast to most of your totem images. Me like :D

The deep red reminds me of blood though. I'm a little disturbed by this particular image, never really associated that with Vulture before. It's thought-provoking.

You captured Turkey Vulture quite well in this--and I'm a bit biased because I think turkey vultures are awesome (I love watching them soar :3), and it's been a guide to me a few times. The limited color range just seems to "fit" with it. Great work on it :).

Oh, he's absolutely gorgeous!

Let me check the finances again. We had a bit of a snafu with a bill I may have forgotten about, so need to see where I stand. I can let you know via email in the next 24 hours tops.

Ooooh Turkey Vulture <3 Used to see them all the time at the lake in WI and just loved watching them soaring around over the bluffs. *nostalgic*

If nobody has dibs on Turkey Vulture (I know the person who wanted it might have some issues with getting the money together), may I be next in line to purchase it please? ♥

Oooo!

Now how do I subtly suggest to family and friends that a print of this would make an excellent Yule present for me? :)
