It'd be nice to go there again as it's only a 20 minute drive away from our place and now that I can walk around a fair bit more, I can start lurking around my favourite haunts more often. Wootage.

Oh, these are so cool! You get to see birds in the wild that I'd *maybe* get to see in a zoo, or on pictures (more likely). Not that I don't get to see cool critters, too--I saw a kestrel out our back window Friday evening.

Oooo kestrels are awesome! We have a local Australian hobby (small hawk) that sometimes rests on one of our light posts - and always the same one, he has a favourite!! - and I heart him. Or her.

Fluffing up because it was cold, I believe. It was towards the end of the day.

The green ones are cute, I knew someone who had a 28 once, called Max. He was adorable.

Aha no, like the corellas, wild ones are likely to take a chunk out of your finger.

Parrots have to be hand-reared and then they're sold under licence here. Some make okay pets, but it's not a sure thing.
