Whee! New batch. :)
Now to work on commissions! Well actually, right now it's 7.00am on a Sunday morning, so maybe it's 'now back to bed!'

(the two hares are SPECTACULAR. One is all SNOW and WINTER, and the other is all SUN and AUTUMN. Wow. Intense.)

Date: 2010-10-24 03:04 am (UTC)I am very impressed with all of these. They have a luminescent quality to them that's very engaging. Of the three I'm most impressed with Arctic hare -- you've really captured the gentleness and thoughtfulness of the creature, and I love the blues (our skies here at twilight and dawn), and the silver/white. For the Cape hare I really like the wild spirals and the translucency and veins in those enormous ears. And for the tufted deer I really love the spirals and the ears.

Date: 2010-10-24 01:44 pm (UTC)Weird little fanged deer now looks cute, and not eeeevil like it did in the earlier sketches :D Nature is WEIRD.

Date: 2010-10-24 08:33 pm (UTC)--You got the "stained glass" of the hares ears just perfect!
I hand raised, (and released) a jack rabbit (hare) once-- the 'glowing' ears were one of my favorite things about her.

Date: 2010-10-25 04:39 pm (UTC)Cape Hare is a weird, buggy-eyed critter with a hell of a stare!
And I so wish I could snatch up the Tufted Deer for Welshwmn3 (she would have to explain why, I'm not sure I remember it right) - but perhaps I will get her a print for Xmas (I owe her other prints I've already bought).
