Having answered 'Other', here is my promised comment:

Seriously? If $$$ was no object at all, I'd set myself up as your highfalutin' Art Patron™, and I'd really try to only ask you to create art on my whim 50% of the time or less. ^_^

I would like to complain about this poll, for not having the "You would, of course, live in my basement and draw whatever you wanted and I would feed you chocolate and take you for walks in the woods." option.

I see I am not the only one who would have ticked a box along those lines :)

(Alternatively, I could live in your basement, because hey! I've never been to Australia, that could be fun.)

But for the fact that Australia is so sad ass we don't even have basements! :)

Heh. I chose multiple answers, because I like individual pieces of all of your art enough to want to own them. I'd say "do more of whatever you want to do more of -- odds are I will be impressed!" :D If you're seriously asking for what would sell better, in my opinion the Wandsuna series might be a little less popular because it's so symbol-rich, while everyone can relate a little more easily to the totems, if only on the level of liking the animal. <-- That said, I'm not sure if this is an accurate reflection of people who buy *your* art specifically. I don't claim to understand all buyers-of-art. Someone is buying that horrific Thomas Kinkade stuff that periodically offends my senses in public displays. (Seriously, there's something about his art that I find actually repellant, though I can't quite articulate it. Particularly the too-bright cottage scenes -- I think on some deep level I feel like he's painting a candy-coated illusion, and there's horror lurking underneath. Maybe that says more about me than about his art. On the other hand, I don't know anyone who actually *owns* any of it, not so much as a tiny print, so perhaps I'm not the only one.)

Have you seen what the Something Awful forums did with Photoshop and Thomas Kinkade paintings? :D (Speaking of lurking - and not so lurking - horror in those paintings.)

I clicked practically all of them. XD

Especially that you would live in my basement. Although, I don't think you would live in my basement because it's not terribly conducive to being artistic not to mention living...And I'd take you out to the barn, too methinks. *grin*

I would love to see more mythology in general. But I know that not am I not throwing you money, but also that there's a certain amount of personal connection there for you to do some of the bigger art pieces, and pulling personal connection to just random stuff is not always easy.

I love your artwork, and if I had the money I'd already own some of it! I ticked many boxes, and I think all of these are wonderful ideas, but the one thing I'd like to see that I haven't seen you do is plants/trees/flowers as totems or powerful presences. I connect so strongly to nature, and I think that would be wonderful. Maybe also the elements... the ocean, a fire, the sky, etc. Is that too woo woo?

If I ever hit Megabucks, I'mma buying all your Wandsunas (even the ones that scare me) and your birds-of-paradise.
In the Other category, I'd have you do a life-size portrait of me among my spirit guides (not life-size of the guides, because one's a mammoth & I'm not looking for a cave-painting size mural but life-size of me, so I could see all the detail).

We has no basements in Vegas, either :P

If money was slightly less of an object right now, I'd buy stuff off DA constantly.

I actually really prefer your Wandsuna images the most. I think your art is really great in general, but something about THAT specific series really intrigues me.

I didn't click any of the other boxes, though I thought those options were cute. :3

But, looking at the option above me, I agree on two accounts:
1. That I'd love for you to draw me as you saw me - energy, guides and all that stuff. I found an Australian artist online who DOES do that and charges an arm and leg to do so. Heh.
2. If I had more money in general, I'd buy more prints off of DA quite frequently.

:D

Rofl, "you'll live in my basement" XD. Yes indeed.

I was tempted to click on everything....ticky boxes do that.

Mainly Wandsuna, spiritual and totem pics would be top of my list.

And by "live in my basement," I mean, "live wherever you like with whomever you like with the ability to come and go freely, just with a ridiculous trust account/stipend and every so often I would get something shiny."

Because, you know, if money is no object, I can totally revive the patronage system. :)

I was torn between the fantastical creatures and the "you would live in my basement" option, because I have lots of chocolate around and could use someone to take on walks in the woods, haha. But I had to go with the fantastical creatures option. That's probably good, because my basement is creepy as hell and there are spiders down there.

Fairytales, fantastical, totems, and you would live in my basement. ;) Also something spiritual. I would love to see what you would do with a full size representation of Bast (and I know you've done the "totem" version, but I'm thinking something big), or Sekhmet, or even Tezcatlipoca.

I'm never getting a basement. But one of the things I WANT is a cold cellar which is made so that it can be a bushfire shelter. Not in suburbia. But in urbia, yes :D

One of my small dreams is to have enough free money to commission you on doing a spirit wheel for me. Not that I've not done them myself, but I'd be intrigued to see what you would to with the concept.
