You know what else your totem-art reminds me of? The Spirit World. Seriously, it's there in the vaporous rainbow backgrounds and the sharply created edges. You kind of have to define things out of the chaos with your attention there, and one of the ways that looks is like this.

*smiles* Thank you for saying this, I really appreciate it. :D It means a lot to me, not actually so much as an artist in this instance, but as someone who seeks to serve totem animals in her artwork, and bring forth their spirits and the energies around them.

As spirit paintings, yours work -- they provide a portal for totem spirits to view our world and for people to connect with totems. It's not that common of a talent, and what makes yours especially valuable is 1) they aren't tradition-specific, and 2) you're rendering some obscure totems that probably don't have good portal pictures yet.

It would be really cool to see these in a totem guide book someday, or a deck of cards, or some other collated resource. *ponder* And you might think about putting them on coffee cups or other swag, if you haven't already.
