Hee, it's fake wood! It's linoleum. We couldn't afford real wood, and only got linoleum as our floor cover in the kitchen and so on. And so I picked one that looked like 'distressed wood' because I knew - even though it looked like crap in the store - it would look the most real in our house.

And most people wh ocome here think it's real. Which is *awesome.*

Also, because it's pre-distressed, it doesn't show up wear and tear as much as the others which is cool. :)
