It's actually a heavy leaf, on a very long necklace chain, all sterling silver. And now the most expensive piece of jewellery I've ever brought for myself (all with vouchers I was given on my birthday).
It looks wonderful to touch as well as look at. AT first I thought it was some sort of feather, but I see from the other comments it's a leaf. Lovely workmanship.
