Oh they are---and interesting to have with you in the woods.
I would not have seen the bobcat without them. The Jays were doing a "Point-and-Shout", headed my way.
I crouched down, to see what the jays were 'yelling' at, so I was down-and-still when the cat came into view. He passed fairly close, and I got a Good look. It was Really cool.

Stellar's Jays are one of my favorite local birds. One male in particular has been chewing me out almost every morning when I come outside.

I love the color combination in this one. Blue/Purple are some of my favorites.

I also really like blue jays - they're so pretty. I want some of their feathers. Are these two birds related? This one looks similar to a blue jay. :3
