I think I always look boring pretty much, with or without the glasses (I actually prefer the way I look with glasses, it draws away from the constant unforgiving shadows under my eyes.)

It's amazing the difference that lighting can make. In the first pic you look defiant, bowed but unbroken.

In the second, you look more haunted/thousand-yard-stare.

Looking like someone else is not an insult btw, an observation :) We can look pretty radically different. You are very pretty, I especially like the second one. It's a far different beautiful than what I've seen before.


PS: Your eyes are the same colour as mine :O (brown, but with green around the outside especially when they're in good light). People always think mine are just brown.

Wow. I did not realize before just how similar some of the figures in your non-totem paintings were to you (it's the glasses, er lack thereof). Maybe it's your expressions. (I haven't looked closely at the larger paintings in a while, but it's spooky because I almost feel like I'm seeing some of them right now, only photographically.)
