If parents want to filter what their kids see on the internet, there are tons of programs that they can download onto their *own computers*, and filter to their heart's content.
'Safe surfing' can be (and should be) in the hands of the end-users.
I hate it when politicians suddenly decide that they are going to 'keep everyone safe', because they usually end up doing quite the opposite. :(
