Learn Touchtyping

I used to be faster than this...
but that's what you get for not typing novels anymore. Lol.

:( 65 words per minute. I used to be so much faster. I fail.

I got 70. :) My workmates think I'm quick. You would blow their minds. hahah

I must admit I was really pushing myself for that.

I think my 'average' speed is about 90-95. 100+ tends to be when I'm taking notes from someone dictating, or when I feel like I have a really good story idea! :)

My max on there was about 60 to 65, though I didn't try doing it any more after a few times because it strains my wrist tendons too much, which is unadvisable. I normally take my time with writing--each word I can type decently quick (I suppose one per second giving my results on that test), but most of the time I am typing from my own thoughts so I take time between every few words to think better about what I want to say; I suppose it's a rather 'leisurely' approach to typing even though I can type a decent speed if I tried (and if my tendons could actually tolerate it). But apparently the two people I work with say I'm such a fast typer, though that's only because they type by the "hunt and peck" method :P.

I think I go faster when I'm on a thought-wave too :) I got most of the comments when I was doing NaNo last year in the office.

(I wrote at least 50% of Rattle & Hum at work LOL!)

31. I'm made of fail. I guess most of the time when I'm typing I'm typing on LJ, writing from my head rather than copying word-for-word. I guess, even that taken into account, I still fail :(

(I really should spend more time typing up story rough-drafts, I've got such lot lying around)
