I re-scanned a bunch of artwork where I wasn't happy with the original scans. I'm currently working on a new Livejournal price-list, and needed images to go along with them. All of these are now available for sale. But anyway, here's what they look like re-scanned!

Coyote Totem - one of the first I did in my accomplished totem style, and a situation where coyote playfully bashed me on the head and demanded I draw him.

Angelbears in Flight - I was never happy with the colour saturation of the original scan which had completely washed out the vibrancy of the violet. This is an accurate colour scan.

Aurboda - An illustration for the raven's tarot that I could NOT get right. It turns out I just had a craptacular scanner. A much much better scan here.

The Forest Dragon - A purely graphite piece which lives wrapped in plastic to prevent smearing. I had to re-scan because my new scanner handles very nicely, and also because I couldn't find a decent picture of this on my computer. I heart this picture.

Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey Totem - Most people know that I don't really like primates, this is probably my most successful exploration of primate energy and I feel really did justice to the energy I was working with.

Oh. Wow.

The Forest Dragon. Spectacular. I truly love how you mixed mythological attributes with real life lizard anatomy.

I love it. It speaks to me and I'm not really into dragons. LOL!

Well the forest dragon is available for sale for $100 USD, and once the print file is approved, you'll also be able to buy prints too.

It's one of my favourite pieces, I used to draw dragons allllll the time. And this is a remnant of that time. :)

Definitely worth the price, but alas, out of my budget. I would be more than happy to purchase a print of it when it becomes available. :)

Just remember we can work out a payment plan, even if it's something like $10 a month, or whatever, if that makes it easier. *hugs*

I wish it did, but not at the moment. We just put a bunch of money into our car; and will have to put more in before August is over...

The repair bill means we won't have a lot of money left over, so it all has to go to the important things.

Thanks though. *hugs*

I like the rescans, they make me wish I had a decent scanner myself, I could get a lot more detail in my own art. Oh well one day when I can afford one...

OMG, that really is coyote! I can't believe how well you captured him there. That really is so awesome.

And I can sympathize. I never choose to work with Coyote, he always comes unannounced, and always leaves me at least one lump for it. :P

Coyote! I have his print *squishes the pup; pays for it horribly* He's far and above my favorite, and I can't even tell you why.

This is beautiful stuff, and I really like seeing the less stylized as well. I like the flames behind Coyote. At some point, if you ever want to, I'd love to hear what you think of him, and what your experience has been.
