Oh, thank you for the links! I especially like the first sketch, the guy with the tendrils and horizontal pupils. Something there seems to really capture the duality of dragons being definitely from here, but also rather alien that I think of them as having.

I like the alien look on dragons, though a lot of other people I've met don't, so I sort of draw less 'alien' ones, and then very alien ones for myself. I was obsessed with dragons for many years (terribly obsessed, really), but many of my early sketches and paintings were given to friends at university, or were destroyed when we move, so sadly I don't have nearly the amount as I used to have.

Clearly it's just an excuse to do more. :)
