Date: 2006-12-12 01:36 am (UTC)Perzephone told me to look you up! Im looking for an artist to help give my logo some original life. Im just starting out my craft art business. Ive already got some sketches of what I really want. It looks like you are doing great with your art and I would love to be able to see what you can do for my sketches.
If possible, I could email the sketches to you to see what youthink. If you are too busy, I completely understand. You have some incredible work already!.
And to comment on this topic, I would invest in this deck when it comes out. The images are beyond beautiful and colorful.

Date: 2006-12-12 01:40 am (UTC)I'd love to give it a shot, though I have some quite serious illnesses at the moment, and it's Christmas season (I work in retail).
Email me your sketches at ophelias_diary@hotmail.com
I saw your post at your LJ as well (and have friended you, if you don't mind, since we share several of the same interests). If you can canvas a few artists at the same time you can get an idea of what you really like. :)
But I'd be more than happy to give it a shot.
As for craft, I'm crap at crafting things, but okay at drawing! In our family, it is my sister who makes wonderful things. :D

Date: 2006-12-12 01:44 am (UTC)1. In Australia they are very common, not only as pets, but everywhere. But more importantly;
2. Parrots are always beautiful, and are surrounded by their own 'everyday beauty.' So much, that they probably take it for granted. They teach us to really *look* in a mirror and see our beauty, and how we take it for granted because we might be 'used to' the colour of our eyes, or the shade or tone of our skin. They remind us that others admire us, even when we can't see it, and let us know that there's nothing wrong every now and then with dressing up to let our natural beauty shine. We don't need make-up, we are all - like the parrot - beautiful enough as is. :)
Also, I think I have a spare black cockatoo print somewhere. If you'd like me to send it to you (I'd have to double check if I had it) email me your home address or an address you'd feel comfortable with at: ophelias_diary@hotmail.com
*grin* Don't worry about postage or anything.

Date: 2007-01-13 03:36 pm (UTC)As for the deck, thank you for your kind words! It's coming along slowly because some of the pictures take a long time to include all of the detail, but I'm really enjoying the process. :)

Date: 2007-02-11 01:45 am (UTC)While I can intro people to Vilturj and the Vilturj runes (which still have many connections to Norse gods etc.) I would have no idea of the clear relationship and significance to Norse/Teutonic tribes except that they *may* have traded, and I'm uncomfortable just placing up sheer speculation, but I'll do my best. :)
