[Art] Unicorn as Totem
Jan. 28th, 2009 01:55 pmUnicorn as Totem
I've never really liked horse-based unicorns, unless they are dark, gothic creatures. So instead I did a goat-based unicorn.
This one's not so dark and gothic though. But I think it's more fluffy than you're average horse-based unicorn.

Original available for sale ($75 USD) - on hold
18.5 x 20.5cm (or 7.4 x 8 in)
illo's board, fineliner, aquarelle, pencil, metallic and iridescent paint

Date: 2009-01-28 02:45 pm (UTC)All right, it's been decided, Rav. You need to do a unicorn series with all the variations you can think of. :P
Totally kidding. You're doing far too much work as it is. SLOW DOWN. <3

Date: 2009-01-28 08:30 am (UTC)Goats are cool--
-I have often thought a unicorn based on an antelope would be interesting...Sable antelope have the arched neck, long tail and a short mane, Others have the long legs *I* think of...

Date: 2009-01-28 03:21 pm (UTC)Maaaah-velous, dahling. I love it! I'm usually a fan of the hybrid type--horse face, but the goat hooves, tail, and some mix int eh body form. Stockier than horses, but not quite as barrel-chested as a goat. And feathers! Must have beard and fetlocks. Nom!
That's just me xD I like fluff and feathers, heh heh. And horses. Might be biased on that last bit, though *giggle*

Date: 2009-01-28 04:34 pm (UTC)Yay for goaty unicorns. I like all types, but prefer the more deer or goaty ones.
~hugs~
Try not to work too hard.. You are exceedingly productive.
