The red panda is also known as the shining cat, the firefox (sound familiar? Heh), lesser panda, fat fox, and fire fox. It's also known as the 'cutest damned thing ever.' There is a pair at Perth Zoo.

Oh! That's beautiful!

I did a three-day fast/vision quest once, and found that my personal totem is the direwolf. Of course, my totem would be an extinct predator the size of a Volkswagon! Do you ever work on commission? I'd love a direwolf painting. ;)

Shifu!!!

We had to watch Kung Fu Panda with the commentary on before I learned that Shifu (the cute one with the big ears and long whiskers) is a red panda. They are neat.
