Wow, your paleoanthropology studies must be very fascinating. I'd love to visit the prehistoric caves of Europe someday. I became fascinated with flint during some amature archealogy that my family did and it is a goal of mine to learn flint knapping. I only have a book on it which I need to study. And Dire Wolf wants me to learn other primitive skills as well. I'm so sorry about your experience with Katrina. Last year, I went through Hurricane Ike and a week of living in Houston which was blacked out and torn up. But that was nothing compared to what New Orleans or even Galveston went through. I grew up near the coast and much of the places of my childhood are devestated. :-( Also, *hugs you* for helping aid the people and animals during Katrina. It still makes me cry to think about that what happened. The black dog could very well have been from Dire Wolf. Also, you might be interested in researching black dog folklore in general. Black dogs have a *very* long and deep history of showing up to protect folks. May I friend you? *blushes* I'd be interested in learning more about your paleolithic studies but don't want to tie up poor Pia's journal.
