My mouth hurts.
I think I need to tell them this on Saturday so that they can do an X-ray
and see if it's worth taking out the wisdom teeth.
Cry.

We have marsupial moles here, but not moles like this. They're so cute.

Have you ever drawn a star-nosed mole? They are some of the funkiest critters on earth.

The colours you used are so velvety.. and so is the mole :)

:( Mouth pain is no fun at all.

*Squeals* I LOVE IT!!! Moley!!! :D :D :D It's fucking fantastic! I can almost feel the fur just looking at it - you really captured him:)

Yay! I'm so glad. I composed it so it was like he was underground, either digging into the earth, or digging upwards. :D :D :D

I can't wait for you to get this one.

Ooh, I really love the colors and tones in this one. It's interesting how the browns and purples work together! That's not something I'd have thought of but the shades work really well. Yay for intuition. <3

I love brown and purple together. Brown is win! It has to be blue-based browns though, and not red-based browns. Red-based browns and purple don't go together as well.

Ya know, I wasn't really expecting to be wowed by a mole (I should know better, I know). But this is just stunning. I immediately got the sensation of the sacredness of the subterranian realms and the lesson of sight-without-sight.
And I can just *feel* the velvety texture of the fur.
Mole paws are cute!

...oh my gods. That is just...perfect! I think this is one of your best expressions of a totem yet. *grin*

Out of curiosity, and because I have absolutely NO memory, are you doing one(s) of any varieties of Moths? I cannot for the life of me remember and I'm definitely not sure where to go look for the answers myself. I absolutely love moths. There's probably more to it than merely liking the animal, as it's to the point of weird (I've told people that I'd be happy with a crapton of moths in my house, so long as they didn't eat my clothes), and if you are making one, I'd definitely be interested in the original (or a print, if that's taken). And if not, I will continue to be amazed and horribly envious of your skill. ^^

I've done two pictures of moth, and one written totem file.

First is Emerald Moth:

Then is Bogong Moth:

And Bogong Moth as totem:

This is very lovely. The purple & bronzey browns blend perfectly.

I just want to touch its wittle nose & paws...

Eeee very beautiful :3

If you have whole cloves, what I did when my wisdom teeth were growing, is put them at the back on your mouth in between your gums. The clove oil will numb them and it's nice to have something hard to scrape your gums against if they're hurting. I've heard of people using clove oil, but I think the cloves are way safer.

My wisdom teeth haven't broke through or grown in a while so I'm not too concerned with them. I don't like dentists anyways.
