I had a lot of fun doing this one, mostly because it's stupidly hot like everywhere right now. Bastard weather. *shakes fist at it*

Now I believe after this, people voted for a tie between something like plant spirits, and elemental dragons. To sate the fantasy fiend in me; I'll probably end up going with elemental dragons or soemthing.



This is the scan, which is actually very colour accurate, minus the iridescence and metallic paint that is oh, like everywhere.

I like this series. It appeals to my sense of elemental correspondence. If I were in any other position than the worse-than-broke I'm in, I would very happily take Raven of Air off your hands.

Actually you know, it's weird... the earth one got snapped up straight away. Then I did the air one - which is my personal favourite - and I got NO offers on that one. And then I did the water one yesterday and got a semi-serious offer but... no response to me asking them what country they were in so I could give them a proper quote.

And today, nothing.

The recession has hit my art sales really really hard actually. I haven't sold any of my 6 recent pieces.

For a while there, it was every single piece, even ones I didn't like.
