My favouritest bird of all time, the Shoebill Stork, also known as the Whalehead:

Oooo that poor duck doesn't stand a chance!

I'd train a whole flock to be my 'guard dogs.'
Mwahahahaha.
I'd be unstoppable!

Apparently the shoebill let the duck go, but the look on the duck's face is priceless. I think this stork is pretty high up on my list of things I don't want to meet in a dark alley.

And yeah, a whole flock of guard-shoebills would be daunting. If I ever walked up to a yard full of them, I'd just stop & turn around. And I thought parrots were intimidating... geez.

Oh I LOVE them. Seriously. I want them to be my totem, and my primary guide, and my spirit helper (alas, they are not). I just WANT HEART WANT them.

I don't find them scary, I see them as regal. I don't find them creepy, but strong. To me they are the stork kings. I'm a bit insane really. But I just love them.

*heart heart heart*
