The scan of this really doesn't do the iridescence justice. There is a lilac/purple iridescent paint in each of the energy circles which didn't scan at all. And a lot of iridescence on the head, down the neck, and in the crowning feathers too.

I heart peacocks.

We have a ton of male indian peacocks at the gorge cafe. I love chasing them around, stalking them and watching them try to steal food from unsuspecting visitors. ;D They're so smart!

The colors on this one are just too perfect. It's got that photographic quality that's been showing up in a lot of your pieces lately. This peacock is very slick, like a well-produced rock album :D Very nice & looks like he's ready to go off at any minute w/that unnerving shriek 0.0

Peacocks are cool, but they make me nervous because they're the eyes of Hera...
