And the master list (which doesn't have the most recent fifteen added) is here:

And that doesn't include the extra 73 I drew for the Australina Animal Oracle Deck and that entry is here:

*ahem* Sorry, just had to. :-P The eyes on your critters get more and more lifelike. This is very lovely.

Date: 2008-09-29 05:23 am (UTC)the COLORS....
I'm not overfond of robins, myself--had to take care of too many baby robins at the wildlife center, and my impression was that they were messy and greedy and there were way too many of them and they didn't have the redeeming point of being as intelligent as other equally messy, greedy birds that I do like...
...but this picture, nonetheless, is beautiful and I am awed (and slightly overwhelmed!) by all the colors!

Date: 2008-09-29 05:55 am (UTC)You really ought to do a 'Guide to Bird Totems' book - your birdies always shine so brightly.
It's been too long since I've seen a real live robin. I've hand-raised so many of them living in Washington & Tennessee - there's none here in the Great Big Empty.

Date: 2008-09-30 01:25 am (UTC)Sometimes I'll cheat and 'upturn' the line of the beak a bit. But with Robin I didn't want to mess with the expression and left it as is. Which means the face is - to me - as naturally emotive as they are in real life. :)

Date: 2008-09-29 12:49 pm (UTC)I used to see them everywhere, but then I moved a few hundred miles and they aren't nearly as common ;-; It saddens me a bit. But at least they're here.
