Just gorgeous! I've raised a few over the past four years as a wildlife rehabber (as you know), and I think you've captured the essence of the ones I've known perfectly. They are so intelligent, friendly and playful, but still like to come across as a bit mysterious (I think they like their slightly spooky reputation!)and your painting shows all those facets.

You've thought about collecting this work into a book, right? Or actually producing totem cards or something of that nature? Because I have never seen better, more magickally potent representations of these animals than yours.

I have thought about maybe doing a book (my partner suggested it the other day) and I've even done the cards and write-up for an oracle deck...

But I'm an artist at heart, and not a businesswoman. The whole organisational stuff / networking side is where I fail. Some people are lucky to be artists AND businesspeople, but I am not one of them.

So I'll just keep doing the art, and hopefully one day if I keep persisting, something will come of it. :)

Random thing (I'm kind of fond of random notes, aren't I?) - I was thinking last night, and connected two thoughts. Your username and the path you've started me on - you've literally been the moon's voice for me.

*hugs* I'm glad you like it. The colouring on this one was actually really difficult, to get it 'right,' and you might see what I mean when you see it, because it's got more layers to it than most of the pictures I do in this style.

That's a really interesting insight about the name moon voice. It's so strange, because I am at once connected and yet disconnected from this name too. I have my moon voice 'back' again, but I still think it's not fully connected in my soul.
